At Shriners Hospitals for Children®, we value the generous donors that make our work possible. To show our appreciation, we offer a number of recognition programs to salute our donors and their generosity.
Philanthropic Society
The Philanthropic Society honors major living donors and deceased benefactors who give contributions and/or bequests in excess of $250,000. Living gifts and bequests are recognized on a cumulative basis.
The Philanthropic Society features the following charitable plateaus:
- Bronze Philanthropic Society for gifts from $250,000 to $499,999.99.
- Silver Philanthropic Society for gifts from $500,000 to $999,999.99.
- Gold Philanthropic Society for gifts of $1 million or more.
- Spectrum Gold Philanthropic Society for gifts of $5 million or more.
A Philanthropic Society award center is prominently situated in each Shriners Hospitals for Children location and at Shriners International Headquarters in Tampa, FL. These award centers are permanent and highly visible tributes to significant benefactors. The award centers are either glass or wooden donor recognition walls.
Dream Makers Legacy Society
When you think of leaving your philanthropic legacy, you search for a cause that is dear to your heart, where you know you can truly make a difference. Shriners Hospitals for Children offers a remarkable philanthropic opportunity to give hope and healing to children now and in the future through the Dream Makers Legacy Society.
Upon receipt of a copy of your will, or other accepted form of documentation, you will be welcomed into the Society at the following levels:
- Estate gifts documented below $250,000 will receive a welcome packet and personalized Shriners Hospitals for Children Dream Makers Legacy Society certificate.
- Estate gifts documented at or above $250,000 will receive a welcome packet and personalized Shriners Hospitals for Children Dream Makers Legacy Society plaque.
The Society also offers regular informational updates and stewardship engagement opportunities for every member throughout the year.
