General Donation Questions

Online: Donating online is our easiest option. You can donate using any major credit card, e-check or your PayPal account here.

Please note: While we do accept international donations, all transactions settle to USD.

Security for online donations: We use Braintree (PayPal Company) to securely process all online donations. No need to worry — you will not need an account with them to donate to Shriners Hospitals for Children, and we’ll never share your information with anyone.

To donate by phone: Please call our office at 844-739-0849. We’re available Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. EST.

International donations: Only donations from within the U.S. are tax-deductible. For USD money orders, please collect donations in your currency, then mail a USD money order to:

Money orders should be made payable to Love to the rescue®. At this time, we don’t accept foreign checks; however, international banks can and will make checks out in USD for you, if you go in and ask. You can then mail us that check, using our address listed above.

Due to our stringent accounting policy and security reasons, we do not share our bank details for donations. We encourage our donors to give online or send us donations via check.

We have created a quick and easy way for you to do this — just click hereWhen you fill out the donation form you will see a checkbox “Dedicate my donation in honor or in memory of someone.”

Once you check that box and fill in your honoree’s email information, they will automatically receive an email notifying them of your generous donation. You can also include an extra note to your honoree if you wish AND select from our specially designed e-cards!

For donations made online, you’ll be re-directed to a confirmation page AFTER making your donation. Within 24 hours, you’ll also receive an email containing your donation details and tax receipt for your records.

Please note: In your donation confirmation email, you will also see a link “Manage your Donation” that directs you right to your online account. If you HAVE NOT logged in before, you can create an account by using the email provided in your donation. Once logged into your account, you can review your donation history as well as print receipts for your taxes.

For donations made by check or money order, you’ll receive a receipt by mail within 2-3 weeks of your donation.

Monthly Donation Questions

Absolutely!

To opt into our monthly giving program head to our donate form, fill in your desired monthly donation amount and click your preferred payment option. Our donation page can be found here, to make your gift monthly, please select the “Monthly” radio button.

When you’re finished hit the “Give Now!” button at the bottom of the page, you should be all set!

If you give by credit card:

Already have an account with us?

Go to lovetotherescue.org and select login to login to your Member Profile. If you no longer prefer to be billed on a recurring basis, select cancel next to your recurring donation. You will then be asked to confirm that you would like to cancel your recurring donation. This is all that needs to be done to cancel your recurring donation. Please keep in mind that there will NOT be a confirmation email sent when this action is taken.

Don’t have an account?
Create an account using the email address that is associated with your monthly donations here: lovetotherescue.org once logged in, follow the above instructions.

*If you signed up through your bank account — bank transactions take up to 5 days to process. You will not be able to see the donation, make changes or cancel until 5 business days after the submission of your donation.

If you give through your PayPal account:
Once you log in to your PayPal account, you can cancel your recurring donation under your “Activity” tab. In order to modify the donation amount, please cancel and resubmit your desired donation amount through our donate form.

Unfortunately, there is not a way to change/edit your monthly donation amount through our donor portal. To make this change, we recommend calling our donor relations department directly at 844-739-0849. The donation coordinators can edit your existing monthly amount and change the date of your donation. We are working on adding this option to our donor portal in the future.
