Shriners Hospitals for Children Love to the Rescue

Story Summary

All of us here at Shriners Hospitals for Children would like to express our concern and gratitude for you during this challenging time.

As the coronavirus crisis evolves, everyone at Shriners Hospitals for Children is working hard to preserve the health and safety of our patients and staff members. We trust you are doing the same, helping to protect yourself and your family, friends and community. All of our supporters are part of our extended Shriners Hospitals family, and we care about you.

During these uncertain times, there is one thing that hasn’t and won’t change: our commitment to improving the lives of children and families. Children who have orthopaedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries and cleft lip and palate still need our help. Our staff remains committed to providing hope and healing to our kids.

Knowing that they have the care and dedication of supporters like you helps propel our patients through their challenging journeys. Your love and generosity for the children mean so much to Shriners Hospitals for Children — now more than ever.

Since current events are bringing anxiety to many, we’d like to share one way we are helping to keep our community’s spirits up. Visit us on social media and follow #SHCBrightSpot for stories of positivity and resilience.

Social distancing and other measures may widen the physical space between us for a while, but we will always be united in our desire to improve the lives of children. We’ll stay connected through this unusual time, and we’ll come out on the other side with bonds that are stronger than ever.

Yours most sincerely,
Jeffrey L. Sowder,
Chairman of the Board, Shriners Hospitals for Children
Imperial Potentate, Shriners International
