“Nothing Stops Me!”

To see Tommy running, jumping, and playing with the other kids on the playground, you might never guess his secret. Luckily, Tommy doesn’t mind telling you.

“I was born with one leg,” he’ll say, and roll up his pant cuff to show you.

What you’ll see is an advanced prosthetic, created and sized just for Tommy at Shriners Hospitals for Children®. With his prosthetic, and of course his boundless energy, Tommy can run, climb, and zip down the sidewalk on his scooter. He even plays soccer!

“Because of you, I can kick harder,” Tommy says confidently after scoring a goal. Today, he believes there is nothing that can stop him.
