Walking Toward Endless Possibilities: The Story of Brendon Wiseley
Story Summary
Brendon Wiseley is a competitive kid. Competition runs in his family–he’s a fifth generation race car driver.
After receiving his first micro junior car at the age of 5, Brendon’s dreams of racing professionally were put on hold when he was 7 years old and was injured in an accident involving a lawn mower. Although he lost a leg, the expertise of the prosthetics staff at Shriners Hospitals for Children — Shreveport and the health care system’s commitment to personalized attention and care combined to get Brendon back on track.
