Come join us for a walk on the wild side at our 10th annual Walk for LOVE!

This year’s 1-mile Walk for LOVE is at Utah’s Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake City on Saturday, September 21, 2024. Get ready to walk, roll, or stroll through the zoo to celebrate and benefit patients at Shriners Children’s Salt Lake City.

Virtual Walks are encouraged to take place between September 10 – 17, 2023, but can take place at your convenience.

Visit www.walkforloveslc.org to register.

Registration is $45/Adult $30/Child (ages 3-17) for participation at the zoo. Children 2 and under are free (does not include a shirt). Registration includes a t-shirt, walk registration, entrance to the zoo, (ticket valid all day Sep. 21) continental breakfast and medal (for children 18 and under). Shriners Children’s SLC Patients (current and past) register for FREE. Please contact Tyree Bee at tbee@shrinenet.org or 801-536-3717 with the patient’s full name, t-shirt size, and address. Please note the price increases to $50/Adult $35/Child for same day registration. Be sure to register before Saturday September 21 to avoid the price increase.

Can’t be with us in person? That is ok! You can register as a virtual walker. Virtual registration is $25 and includes a t-shirt and medal (for children 18 and under). You can participate virtually wherever you are. You can plan to walk in your neighborhood, at a local park or even in your own backyard. Show us how creative you can be! Make sure to tag #WFLSLC2024 on your Facebook or Instagram account as you share your team spirit, highlight your walk, and most of all as you show your support of Shriners Children’s Salt Lake City.

    1. The highest earning fundraiser wins a prize!
    2. We are bringing back our Opportunity Drawing for our Champions for Love fundraisers. Here is how it works:
  • Every $100 raised enters the fundraiser into the opportunity drawing. There is no cap on entries. Raise as much as you can to better your chances! For example, if you raise $500 that is five entries!
  • Keep in mind that when donating to a fundraising page (team or individual) you are helping that fundraiser with their chances of winning a prize from the opportunity drawing. (Donations made in support of a fundraising page are not eligible to win prizes).
  • Want a chance to win something for yourself? Create your own fundraising page! You can fundraise on your own or create a Team. Teams can consist of just you or any friends, family or neighbors who want to join your fundraising efforts. There’s no limit!
  • Please note! Registration fees do NOT go towards your fundraising efforts. So, make sure to create a fundraising page when you register and get fundraising!
